Walk on a combination of rural county roads and groomed trails on beautiful Samish Island. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Salish Sea, San Juan Islands, local oyster and clam commercial aqua ranching and scenic Mt. Baker.
Free participants are welcome. IVV credit is $3.00. Donations are appreciated and will be used to support future events. All participants must register, and carry and return a start card.
Miscellaneous information: Water and restrooms are at the start point. Dogs are OK, but must be on leash for the entire walk. Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.

Directions from South: North on I-5 to exit 231, toward Chuckanut Drive. North on Chuckanut Drive (SR 11) to Sunset Rd. Turn Left (west) on Sunset Rd to Farm To Market Rd. Turn right onto Farm To Market Rd. Turn hard left (west) onto Bayview-Edison Rd just prior to the town of Edison. The road will wind and become the Samish Island Rd. at a "T" intersection. Go straight. Go approximately 4.5 miles to Scott Road and turn right where there is a sign indicating the Community of Christ Church. The church is approximately 200 meters on Scott Road.
Direction from North: I-5, exit 236 (Bow Hill Road). Turn right (west) on Bow Hill Rd and go several miles through Bow and Edison. In Edison, the arterial turns left and heads south becoming the Farm To Market Rd. In Approximately .4 miles, turn right onto the Bayview-Edison Rd. The road will wind and become the Samish Island Rd. at a "T" intersection. Go straight. Go approximately 4.5 miles to Scott Road and turn right where there is a sign indicating the Community of Christ Church. The church is approximately 200 meters on Scott Road.
