Carol Oppen, Secretary. Just when we needed her, Carol appeared. She manages to make sense of our (verbal) ramblings and publishes them as minutes; keeps our roster updated; and, of course, walks with us rain or shine. Contact her at [email protected]

Pat Campbell, Treasurer. Pat steps up to the plate, as well as out on trails and pathways. She took over the Treasurer position when medical problems threatened her predecessor. As a result, she’s currently questioning her own mental health. Contact: [email protected]

All of our members contribute to the success of our events. Like good volunteers everywhere, they jump in and help out wherever and whenever necessary. They find the trails for events, mark and clear trails, sit countless hours at start and finish tables, slave over event brochures, and maintain remote registration contact.
Besides walking our unique events, everyone is also welcome to join the Four Plus Club. Here are some reasons to do so:
1. Receive our monthly minutes. Read about our upcoming walks first.
2. Suggest a walk. Got a favorite hike? We can probably organize an event there.
3. May attend our club pre-walks, walked as a group hike.
4. May attend our yearly trip out of state to sanction other great national park (or other) walks.
5. Invitation to our annual Christmas Party and other special events.
6. Support the continuation of these kinds of volks-hikes.
To join, either participate in a walk and talk any member there, or mail your name, address, phone and email address, plus an annual fee of $10 (check made out to Four Plus Foolhardy Folks) to: Four Plus Club — Membership, 17634 122nd Pl SE, Renton, WA 98058. Use the contact information on any event page to speak to someone about the club or an event. Our meetings are held via Zoom, so participation is easy.
