Port Ludlow is a seaside community with over 26miles of beautiful trails. It's located between Hood Canal Bridge and Port Townsend.
The 5K route (rated 2B) includes the beach, marina, wooded trails, and waterfront neighborhoods. 7K adds an interpretive trail with a waterfall. The 5K and 7K are relatively flat, but there are some stairs. The 10K route (rated 3C) adds an uphill climb to a higher neighborhood and a trail loop. Trails are well-maintained. This is a cooler walk with lots of shade. Pets permitted on leash. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Come and spend the weekend! There are also YREs in nearby Port Townsend, Port Gamble, Kingston, Poulsbo, Bremerton, Silverdale and Port Angeles.
Fees: $3 for AVA credit. Free walkers are welcome.
Miscellaneous: Dogs are allowed but please keep them leashed. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Baby strollers could do the 5K route if you can handle some steps and curbs.

From Tacoma and points south: From I-5, follow signs for Hwy. 16 and Gig Harbor. Cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on Hwy 16 North and then Hwy 3 North until you reach the Hood Canal Bridge. Turn left on 104 to cross the Hood Canal Bridge. After the bridge, take the first road to the right (Paradise Bay Rd.). Follow the road into Port Ludlow. At the stop sign at Paradise Bay Rd and Oak Bay Rd, turn right. Continue onto Osprey Ridge Dr. Osprey Ridge Dr. turns right and becomes Walker Way. Turn right onto Rainier Ln. Destination will be on the right.
From Seattle: Take the ferry to Bainbridge Island and follow Hwy 305 north to Hwy 3 North. Take Hwy 3 North to reach the Hood Canal Bridge. Turn left on Hwy 104 to cross the Hood Canal Bridge. After the bridge, take the first road to the right (Paradise Bay Rd.). At the stop sign at Paradise Bay Rd and Oak Bay Rd, turn right. Continue onto Osprey Ridge Dr. Osprey Ridge Dr. turns right and becomes Walker Way. Turn right onto Rainier Ln. Destination will be on the right.
From Points North: Take the Edmonds/Kingston ferry to Kingston. Stay on Hwy 104, heading west/north. At Striebels Corner (gas station on right), turn right to stay on Hwy 104. Pass through Port Gamble and then turn right onto the Hood Canal Bridge. After the bridge, take the first road to the right (Paradise Bay Rd.). At the stop sign at Paradise Bay Rd and Oak Bay Rd, turn right. Continue onto Osprey Ridge Dr. Osprey Ridge Dr. turns right and becomes Walker Way. Turn right onto Rainier Ln. Destination will be on the right.
